If you are suffering after exposure to a stressful event (or multiple events) you may benefit from Rewind Trauma Therapy.
The Rewind Technique is a non-disclosure trauma therapy, meaning that you do not have to talk about the details of your experience.
This is different from other therapies and why it is often known as 'closure without disclosure'.
Being exposed to an event where we felt very frightened or powerless can sometimes lead to the development of PTSD.
Some examples of such events include, but are not limited to;
Symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
It is natural to experience upsetting or distressing thoughts and feelings, even physical sensations, after being exposed to a traumatic event. These will usually start to lessen in the days and weeks following the event. If symptoms persist beyond, or start after approx 4 weeks, you could be experiencing PTSD.
Some of the symptoms of PTSD include:
Complex PTSD can result from experiencing or being exposed to a prolonged traumatic event or recurring, long-term traumatic experiences. Events from which escape is extremely difficult, or impossible.
The symptoms of Complex PTSD can include all of the symptoms of PTSD, with the addition of:
Memories cannot be erased, but the Rewind Technique is able to greatly reduce and even stop the involuntary recall and the distressing symptoms experienced.
Clients often tell me that after they have had just one session of Rewind Trauma Therapy, they feel lighter, like a weight has been lifted from their shoulders.
