A chance for you to be truly heard...
I appreciate that it can take courage to come and share your experiences so my aim is to make the process as rewarding as possible for you.
Counselling can range from a short, solution-focused piece of work to longer-term psychotherapy.
How we work together is dependent upon your needs and we can talk about what may suit you best during our initial consultation.
Some of the positive changes that my clients have benefitted from include;
Sessions are held in a warm and welcoming harbourside space, created for your comfort.
" I have found the location to be a peaceful and tranquil setting...When things felt rough and unsteady it was reassuring to know I had a place where I could go and be still but reflective" ~ client feedback
"Location was great. Quiet, interesting. Available parking was very useful. Size of the room was good, felt homely, relaxing, welcoming. Good natural light - window on each wall and relaxing lighting in winter. Comfortable seating" ~ client feedback
Please see my 'Testimonials' page for further comments of clients' therapy experience.
There is no obligation to continue with sessions after our initial meeting, and I will help you to find an alternative therapist if we feel that I'm not the right counsellor for you.
Fees can often vary between counsellors and this can be due to a number of factors, including;
Qualifications and experience, registration & accreditation status, additional post-qualifying specialisms.
If you are an employer, or represent an agency seeking counselling for staff or service users, please contact me to discuss terms and fees.
It is important that you feel able to talk openly in order to gain maximum benefit from sessions.
I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and I will discuss confidentiality in full with you during our initial consultation.
* Please see my 'FAQ' page for further information about confidentiality.
