You may not call it grief, but something in you knows you’ve lost something that deeply mattered.
Often, you’re left not just with sadness, but with a deep sense of disconnection, numbness, exhaustion or anxiety that doesn’t make sense. A stuckness you can’t explain.
These aren’t signs that something’s wrong with you. They can be signs of unspoken, unprocessed grief.
Grief doesn’t just live in your thoughts, it lives in your body.
That’s why I use Brainspotting, a gentle, body-based therapy, evolved from EMDR, that is especially helpful for trauma, grief and loss. It works by helping you access the deeper parts of your brain and body where emotional pain often gets stored, beyond words and beyond logic.
Using specific points in your visual field, Brainspotting allows your brain to begin processing and releasing what’s been stuck, without needing to talk through every detail or relive the pain. It’s quiet, powerful work that supports healing from the inside out.
There’s no pressure here to move on or fix it. We move with your grief, slowly, respectfully, so that over time, the heaviness softens, and space opens for something new: clarity, steadiness, a return to yourself.
If you feel stuck, disconnected, or lost after something changed, even if you’re not sure why, your pain is valid, and you don’t have to carry it alone. This work meets you where you are, and helps you find your way through.
If you’re navigating grief, no matter the shape or source, know that you are not alone. Take a moment to honour your story, and when you're ready, I invite you to contact me.
