Therapy Intensive Terms and Conditions

To keep the process simple and convenient for my Therapy Intensives, payment can be made via bank transfer or Stripe.

• Stripe: credit card, debit card, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A secure payment link will be sent to you.

• Bank transfer: details will be provided. Please include your name and 'intensive' as the reference.

Please also be aware of my cancellation policy below regarding any changes to your booking.

Fees
Consultation (90 minutes, required for everyone): £185. If you go on to book the intensive within 3 months of your consultation, this is credited in full against the intensive fee.

Betrayal Trauma Intensive: £1,750. Three consecutive days of three-hour sessions, a 90-minute integration session 7–14 days later, a 30-minute check-in about three months after that, and my self-guided healing resources. With your consultation credit, £1,750 is your total, and £1,565 is left to pay.

Nature of the service
The Betrayal Trauma Intensive is a therapeutic experience designed to support you in working with the impact of betrayal, including emotional regulation and reconnecting with yourself. It is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care, nor for crisis or emergency support. Participation is voluntary, and the process may evoke strong emotions.
While many people find this work meaningful and relieving, no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.
All therapy I provide adheres to BACP ethical and professional standards, with careful attention to consent, pacing and emotional safety throughout.

Cancellation policy
The intensive involves a significant commitment of time, preparation and focused therapeutic space. It is confirmed once dates are agreed. Your intensive will start after your 14-day cooling-off period has ended.

Payment. Payment in full (£1,565 after your consultation credit) is due within 7 days of booking. If payment is not received by then, I may release your dates.

Cooling-off period. For 14 days after you book your intensive, you can change your mind for any reason. You pay nothing, and I refund anything you have already paid. To cancel, email me at sharon@sharon-nicholson.com. 

After the cooling-off period.
• Cancelling at least 14 days before your start date: you pay £690 (£875 if your consultation credit does not apply) and I refund the rest.

• Cancelling less than 14 days before your start date, or choosing not to complete the full intensive: you pay the full fee.

One free reschedule. You may move your intensive once, at no charge, with at least 14 days’ notice before your start date. Your payment carries over to the new dates, which need to fall within 3 months of the original. Any further change, or a change with less notice, is treated as a cancellation.

Integration session and check-in. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the session is forfeited and the fee is not refunded.

Consultation. If you need to change the time of your consultation, please tell me as soon as you can. If you do not attend and have not told me, the consultation fee is payable. Your consultation has its own 14-day cooling-off period, set out in your Therapy Agreement.

You will receive my Therapy Agreement to read and sign before your consultation. There is nothing more to sign when you book an intensive.
