The Expansion Intensive

For women who know there is more — and are ready to stop waiting for it

You are capable. Possibly very capable. You show up, you deliver, you hold things together.

And privately, quietly, you know something is missing.

Maybe it is the career that pays the bills but stopped feeling like yours a long time ago.

The business idea you have been circling for years but never quite start.

The version of your life that feels just out of reach — more free, more alive, more fully you.

Maybe you don't even know what you want yet. Just that this isn't quite it.

Something keeps getting in the way.

Fear, perhaps, or the habit of putting everyone else first.

A procrastination so familiar it has started to feel like part of your personality, or simply a door that you keep almost opening — and then don't.

Who this work is for

Perhaps you recognise yourself in some of this:

You show up for everyone else — so consistently and so completely that somewhere along the way you stopped showing up for yourself.

You have opinions you don't voice. Dreams you don't mention. A version of yourself you sense but rarely let anyone see.

You overthink, over-prepare, and still find reasons not to begin.

You care deeply what other people think — more than you want to, more than feels good.

You move through your days feeling vaguely invisible. Not to others — you are probably very present to them. But to yourself. As though the life you are living belongs to someone slightly different from who you actually are.

You are tired of being a ghost in your own life.

This work is about more than feeling better.

It is about daring to reimagine what your life could actually look like, and finding the parts of you that are ready to live it.

What becomes possible

It often starts with the small things. The glimmers.

A moment of genuine joy that catches you off guard. A conversation where you said exactly what you meant. A morning that felt, unexpectedly, light.

These are not small things. For someone who has been going through the motions for a long time, they are everything.

Then something larger begins to move.

The business idea that had been living quietly in your head for years — sometimes decades — finally finds its way into the world.

The creative project — the writing, the art, the dancing, the thing you had almost convinced yourself was frivolous — becomes something you actually do.

The promotion you had been talking yourself out of. The prices you finally raise. The work you put out into the world and allow to be seen.

The dream you had quietly dismissed as too much — that you begin, at last, to take seriously.

Quietly, something shifts in how you see yourself. What you ask for. What you accept. What you decide you are worth — in your work, your relationships, your life.

Relationships often shift too.

Some clients find themselves more present, more connected, more able to enjoy what they have.

Others find a clarity they had been avoiding — about what they want, what they need, and whether what they have is truly enough.

That kind of clarity can feel frightening before it feels freeing. But it is always honest. And it is always theirs.

Clients often describe a kind of creative unlocking. A return to parts of themselves they had quietly shelved. A recognition, sometimes surprising, that they were creative all along, and something had simply been in the way.

Not a different person. Just more fully themselves. More present. More alive. More able to claim what was always theirs.

What the work involves

This work goes beneath the thinking mind — to where something can actually shift.

Using Brainspotting, we work with the body and nervous system, following specific eye positions and bilateral music to access what thinking and talking alone rarely reach.

Parts of you that hold fear, perfectionism, self-doubt, or the quiet belief that it isn't safe to be fully seen — we meet them here, with curiosity rather than pressure.

You do not need to arrive with a clear story or explanation. You just need to be ready for change.

Why an intensive?

There is something powerful about giving yourself some dedicated time entirely away from ordinary life.

No emails. No responsibilities. No slipping back into the same patterns at the end of the hour.

Some clients create a quiet sanctuary at home. Others take themselves to a peaceful hotel or cottage and find the separation itself becomes part of the process — a deliberate stepping away from the life they want to change, and toward the one they are ready to build.

An intensive creates the kind of sustained, uninterrupted space that weekly sessions rarely can.

What might take months to reach gradually, an intensive can often access in days. Not because it rushes anything, but because it never has to stop just as something is beginning to open.

For expansion work especially, that container matters.

This is not maintenance. It is a turning point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact me via the enquiry form if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Not at all. Many women who come here would never describe themselves as having experienced trauma. They simply know that something has been keeping them from living fully — and that thinking about it hasn't been enough to shift it. This work is for that, whatever its origins.

It is therapy — which means it is grounded in clinical training, ethical frameworks, and the ability to go deeper when the work calls for it, to meet what arises safely, to work with the nervous system and not just the mind.

As an ICF Certified Coach as well as an accredited therapist, I bring the best of both worlds.

That is one of the most common reasons people come here. You do not need an explanation, or even a clear goal. Sometimes the work itself reveals what has been in the way. All you need is the sense that something needs to shift.

Yes. These are some of the most common threads in expansion work — the inner critic, the perfectionist, the part that holds back just before something good becomes possible.

Brainspotting and parts-informed therapy work directly with those patterns, not just the thinking about them.

Each intensive is shaped around you, where you are, what you are carrying, and what you are ready to move toward. Sessions combine Brainspotting, bilateral music, and parts-informed work, with time for reflection and integration woven throughout. The pace is always yours. You will never be pushed further than feels right.

Sometimes expansion work touches older or deeper material — things that had been quietly waiting underneath the surface. If that happens, we slow down and work with it carefully. You are never left to manage that alone.

Part of what makes this work safe is that it is always paced to your capacity — and always held within a clinical framework that knows how to meet what arises.
