Healing from relational trauma isn’t always straightforward.
You may have noticed that certain patterns keep appearing in your relationships, or that memories and emotions from childhood still surface in ways that feel intrusive or overwhelming. Perhaps someone close betrayed your trust, or you’ve experienced manipulative dynamics that left you questioning yourself, and your own behaviours.
Often, we understand these experiences intellectually but feel emotionally stuck. Talking them through isn’t always enough - the nervous system holds on to what the mind can’t fully process.
This is where a retreat-style therapy intensive can help. Over multiple sessions, we create a safe, contained space for your mind and body to process relational trauma. You have the chance to leave with not just insights, but embodied healing, self-compassion, and clarity about your next steps in life.
Your intensive can be experienced from the comfort and privacy of your own home, giving you a safe and familiar space to process your emotions and nervous system shifts.
If you prefer a more immersive experience, many clients choose to attend from a quiet hotel, lodge or retreat-style space, creating a temporary sanctuary that supports deeper focus and relaxation.
Wherever you are, the environment is structured to help you feel; secure, grounded, and fully held throughout the intensive.
Intensives are designed to provide dedicated time and focus for processing relational trauma.
Instead of squeezing healing into weekly sessions, we work together in longer, retreat-style sessions, allowing your nervous system to integrate the work between sessions and overnight.
Each intensive typically includes:
Each intensive is tailored to your needs and paced to feel safe, compassionate, and deeply supportive.
Multi-day intensives are especially helpful if you:
Sometimes, an intensive isn’t the right first step - and that’s okay. It may be more helpful to consider weekly or fortnightly sessions if:
An intensive is most effective when you have the space and support to fully show up to yourself - and it’s okay if that comes in stages.

Relational trauma often lives in both the mind and the nervous system. You may understand what happened but still feel stuck emotionally or physically.
These intensives allow us to:
The goal is lasting change, not just short-term relief.
Your healing space will be:
Many clients describe it as a personal healing retreat, giving them the focus, time and space they need to process relational trauma deeply.

Weekly sessions offer regular support, reflection, and guidance, but progress can be slower because each session is separated by a week, sometimes two. An intensive gives uninterrupted, multi-hour sessions over 2 or 3 days, allowing your nervous system to fully engage and deeper processing to occur. You also get a 90-minute follow-up session to help integrate shifts.
Sessions are carefully paced, with built-in breaks, and work is always contained and manageable. The intensive is structured around your nervous system, ensuring you can go as deep as feels safe without being overwhelmed.
While it’s not a quick fix or guaranteed “cure,” you can expect to process grief or trauma more efficiently, notice insights and shifts in perspective, and build internal resources to support ongoing change. Multi-day focus allows access to layers of experience that may take months to reach in weekly or fortnightly sessions.
A free clarity call and initial 90-minute consultation help us explore your history, goals, and readiness. The intensive is appropriate if you feel safe to engage in deeper work, want focused support, and are open to processing emotional experiences in a structured container.
Yes, the intensive can cover one or a few related themes, for example, past grief and lingering relationship trauma, but it’s structured to avoid overwhelming you. Sessions are paced to help you process layers safely.
You can continue with weekly or fortnightly 90-minute sessions if needed, or schedule another intensive in the future. The intensive is designed to create momentum and foundational shifts, which can be supported with ongoing therapy if desired.
The 90-minute follow-up session happens approximately 7-14 days after the intensive. Its purpose is to consolidate shifts, integrate insights into daily life, and address any residual emotions or questions.

Still unsure? That’s okay.
You don’t need to have everything figured out, your enquiry is welcome, and we can explore what would feel most supportive together.
There is no pressure to decide quickly.
