Stress and burnout

You're not broken

When stress becomes a constant background noise, or a loud, overwhelming roar, it can take a real toll on your body, mind, and sense of self. 


Burnout doesn’t always show up as a dramatic crash. Sometimes it’s quiet: the growing numbness, the struggle to get through the day, the feeling that you’re barely holding it all together.


You might be feeling exhausted no matter how much you sleep, irritable or anxious without knowing why, or disconnected from the things you used to enjoy. You may notice yourself snapping at people you care about or feeling like you’re always on edge. Maybe you’re stuck in survival mode—doing everything you should do, but feeling like you’re disappearing in the process.


Stress and burnout can come from many places: work, caregiving, parenting, school, perfectionism, unresolved trauma, or simply trying to keep up in a world that rarely lets us pause. Over time, chronic stress can affect your physical health, your emotional well-being, and your ability to feel present in your own life.


If you're here, there’s a good chance you’re running on empty, and something inside you knows it can’t keep going like this. That’s not weakness. It’s wisdom.


A body-mind approach to therapy offers a space to slow down, exhale, and reconnect with yourself. We’ll work together to understand what’s driving the overwhelm, begin to untangle what’s yours to carry (and what isn’t), and find new ways to support your well-being; mentally, emotionally, and physically.
