Rewind Therapy (RT) - For single-event trauma

When your nervous system can’t forget—even though you want to.

Some experiences imprint so deeply, your mind and body keep reacting long after the danger has passed. A sound, a smell, a moment can send you spiralling; tight chest, racing thoughts, the same memory looping again and again. It can feel like you're trapped in it, unable to move forward, no matter how much time has passed.

Rewind Therapy is a gentle, imaginal, non-invasive approach designed to help you process and release the emotional charge of a single traumatic event, without needing to relive it.

You don’t have to stay stuck in the past.

Relief is possible.

You’re not broken; you’re human, and healing is within reach.

Closure without disclosure

Rewind therapy is not talk therapy. You don’t have to share the details of what happened unless you choose to. Instead, we work with how the memory is stored in your brain, helping it shift from “now” to “then,” so you can move forward with more ease, calm, and clarity.

Symptoms

If you’re experiencing high anxiety, flashbacks, nightmares, or other symptoms of PTSD following a specific event, Rewind may be a good fit.

Together, we’ll use a short questionnaire to help us decide if this approach is right for you.

What if I’m not sure it was “trauma”?

You don’t have to call it trauma for your body to respond as if it was.

If you’re experiencing distress linked to a specific memory, Rewind may still help.

The screening process will help us clarify this together.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is different, but many people notice significant shifts within 1–3 sessions. Sometimes, additional support is helpful to process surrounding emotions or experiences. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.

Can Rewind be part of ongoing therapy?

Absolutely. Rewind can be a standalone treatment or integrated into the broader therapeutic work I offer, talk therapy with Focusing and Brainspotting.

Still wondering if this is right for you?

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. If something about this feels like a yes, or even a maybe, I invite you to contact me. We can talk it through, gently, with no pressure.

You deserve to feel safe, supported, and at home in yourself again.

Fill in the contact form to book a free clarity call, or send a message with your questions.

This could be your first step toward something lighter.
